Eczema

Eczema is a dry, irritated skin condition.  The most common trigger is food sensitivity.

  • It is advisable to keep a food diary, to note what food was eaten preceding flare up.  Then eliminate that food for one month and after the month introduce it gradually to see if symptoms occur. If so, it is likely that the particular food is a trigger for your eczema and is best avoided.  If a food item does need to be avoided, make sure you are replacing that food item with an alternative, so as not to miss out on any particular food group, vitamin or mineral
